It’s not hard to miss the Aupres counter at Parkson KLCC as it’s located in a corner not near the rest of the beauty counters. However, if you are entering the beauty hall from the side entrance, you will definitely come across the Aupres counter. This is where I collected a few skincare samples including this little tub of Aqua Active Sleeping Mask which I have been curious about.
I’ve tried several sleeping masks all of which were made in Korea. This is the first time I’ve tried a Made in China sleeping mask, not that there’s anything wrong with Made in China skincare as long as the skincare brand is under the auspices of huge and famous companies which have everything to lose if their skincare doesn’t come under stringent quality control.
Aupres Aqua Active Sleeping Mask is a gel mask rather similar to Laneige’s popular Water Sleeping Pack_EX except that the Aqua Active Sleeping Mask has tiny white particles within the gel mask which I presume contain the hydrating active ingredients. The particles dissolve within the gel as soon as I massaged the mask on to my face.
It’s not sticky and I don’t think it comes off on to my pillow. The next morning, my skin feels and looks smooth and soft. I can still see there’s some of the mask left on my face. The effect is similar to the Laneige version. I don’t think there is much difference at all since they are both equally hydrating. I do like the slightly floral scent in the Aupres Aqua Active Sleeping Mask. It’s a nice scent for sending me off to slumberland.
Aupres Aqua Active Sleeping Mask is 80g/RM95.
aiya… I was at KLCC yesterday but didn’t thought of checking out Aupres at Parkson.
