In an exclusive wine tasting session conducted by Jonathan Lament, South Asia Manager of Barton & Guestier, customers and guests were treated to the B&G Reserve and B&G Passeport ranges. The Barton & Guestier wine tasting session was held at Mercato d’marketplace in Pavilion.

Barton & Guestier Passeport Vouvray 2013
Appearance : Brilliant clear yellow
Nose : Fruit driven with lovely aromas of peach, pear and apricot. On the second nose, delicate floral and mineral notes appear.
Palate : Extremely fruity on the palate with a good balance between smoothness and freshness. A long and generous finish.
Food matches : Nice with cheese, try with aged cheddar, any smoked salmon or trout, or barbecue. Best served between 8°C and 10°C.

Barton & Guestier Passeport Médoc 2012
Appearance : Deep purple.
Nose : Intense and complex with peppery notes and morello cherries aroma. Elegant hints of vanilla and toasted bread appear when agitated.
Palate : Harmonious, well balanced, with good tannins and a long fruity, spicy and toasty finish.
Food matches : Meat, strong cheese. Best between 16°C and 18°C.

Appearance : Clear yellow with a golden hue.
Nose : An elegant bouquet, floral (acacia) and fruity (apple and quince) at the same time. With aeration, slightly mineral and fruity.
Palate : Fresh and fruity on the palate with a crisp apple finish. Wine with a perfect balance.
Food matches : Fish and seafood, white meat. Best between 10°C and 12°C.

Appearance : Shiny salmon pink.
Nose : Flattering, with intense ripe red fruit aromas (redcurrant, raspberry, cherry) and spicy notes.
Palate : Crisp and lively on the palate with a lot of red fruit aromas.
Food matches : Grilled meats, salads, spicy and exotic dishes. Best between 10°C and 12°C.
