Bobbi Brown Fragrances

Although Bobbi Brown fragrances aren’t new, I’ve only recently discovered them. The bottles (relaunched here last month) are understated and simple. You could easily miss them as these bottles look so plain and ordinary but the fragrances are anything but ordinary. Actually, I am not the only one who was unaware that Bobbi Brown had fragrances. A few people I spoke to were also surprised that there were fragrances available at Bobbi Brown.

There are 5 fragrances (all RM220) with different fonts on the bottles:-

Bobbi

Clean, fresh and pretty, Bobbi’s signature fragrance is the perfect blend of citrus and green notes – for a hint of femininity and sexiness.

Bath

Imagine that “fresh out of the shower” feeling and you have the essence of Bath. This clean and fresh eau de toilette reflects Bobbi’s modern approach to fragrance and contains notes of Water Hyacinth, Neroli, Orange Flower, White Lily, Aromatic Sage and Sandalwood with hints of Patchouli.

Almost Bare

This fresh floral fragrance features a delicate balance of inspiring Italian Bergamot blended with Violet Leaves to relax and soothe the senses. The sexy scent is enhanced by a note of Soft Muguet and gentle Jasmine Petals, with a Soft Cedar and Warm Amber background.

Bobbi’s Party

Destined to be a classic Bobbi’s most feminine scent makes any moment feel special. With rich bouquet of violet leaves, rose petals and sandalwood, you’re sure to be the belle of the ball.

Beach

Inspired by the sun, sand and surf, Beach is the perfect complement to your summer beauty routine. With its light, intoxicating blend of Sand, Jasmine, Sea Spray, and Mandarin, it captures the essence of summer in a bottle.

My initial 2 favourites were Bobbi and Almost Bare. I had a tough time deciding which one to take home and read a number of online reviews. Almost Bare had an edge over Bobbi which was stronger and more long-lasting simply because Almost Bare has a subtle scent very different from any other fragrance I have come across. Only issue I have with Almost Bare is that it is exactly that – the scent dissipates quite quickly. In the end, I purchased Almost Bare because it just seemed like the right choice. Different fragrances appeal to different people and they probably even smell different on different people. I don’t think Bobbi’s fragrances are as famous as her make-up but I believe they’d appeal to women who are looking for non-overpowering fragrances.
