Bobbi Brown’s Luxe Eye Palette comes in a metallic silver case which doubles up as a mirror and fingerprint magnet. It contains 6 eye shadows, mostly in pale and pastel shades of pinks and browns as well as a very mini eye shadow and liner brush. Textures range from mattes to metallic shimmers and sparkle, the shimmers being very subtle.
Shade #1 is Cream, the base shade for all the other eye shadows. I use this all over the eyelid. It’s matte and was the most difficult to show up on my skin. It’s easier to pick up this shade with a brush.
Shade #2 is Pink Opal which is a shimmery icy pale pink. This is the only new shade in the palette.
Shade #3 is Oyster Grey (metallic) although I don’t see any hint of grey or maybe it could be a bit more grey so that it gives some depth and can be seen on the outer corners of the eyes.
Shade #4 is Pink Pearl, a lovely metallic shade which is the darkest pink in the palette.
Shade #5 is Pink Lilac, a sparkly purple-toned pink which didn’t have such good colour pay-off.
Shade #6 is Espresso which is matte and the liner shade.
All eye shadows were applied without any eye shadow primer beneath. The eye shadow and liner brush were useful and were used to apply the eye shadows in the looks above. It’s much better to have brushes albeit mini versions than sponge-tipped brushes which should have no place in non-drugstore eye shadow palettes.
Bobbi Brown Luxe Eye Shadow Palette retails at RM240/10g. It works out to RM40 per eye shadow.

Pink lilac would be my fav!
Yes, it’s actually the best shade of the 6 (once you can get it to show).
