This was just what I needed as I’d run out of whitening masks, my last one was from Caudalie Vinoperfect range. boscia Bright White Mask is a brightening peel-off mask that contains clinical levels of advanced whitening ingredients. It promises to hydrate, smooth and firm skin while lightening dark spots.
I have a weakness for peel-off masks as I like the drying process, it feels as if my skin is being tightened and therefore there should be some firming effect or so I’d like to think. This is a creamy mask which I leave on for 20 minutes minimum, it takes about 20-30 minutes for it to completely dry and this is one mask which has to be 100% dry otherwise it is a pain to remove. It helps to sit in front of a fan.
Once dry, it can be removed in less than 5 strips. You want to try and get as much off as possible with one pull. It doesn’t hurt when I start pulling, not as much as other peel-off masks I’ve tried. I noticed that my skin is brighter and more luminous after I’ve used this mask but to really reduce hyperpigmentation, you’d need to use it together with whitening skincare.
These are the key ingredients:-
- Sea Fern Algae, which reduces synthesis of melanin and reduces age spots and hyperpigmentation
- Stay C-50, a stable pro-Vitamin C brightens the skin, increases collagen production, prevents melanin production and repairs skin damage caused by UV radiation
- Matrixyl 3000, a peptide blend that has a visible anti-wrinkling and lifting effect
- Salicornia, a plant extract that hydrates and limits water loss
- White Tea, a powerful antioxidant
As far as firming and hydration goes, my skin feels more supple and softer with each use. I prefer peel-off masks to masks that just sit on the skin as I believe peel-off masks adhere better to skin thereby gives better absorption into skin.
