Turkish Ice Cream
Sometimes it’s about timing. I was invited for the Buka Puasa buffet preview at Suria Cafe, Saujana Hotel KL last week but happened to be in Kuantan so I asked Camie to attend on my behalf. If you are tired of eating indoors, Suria Cafe offers dining under the stars this Ramadhan.
From 9 July to 7 August, Suria Cafe offers an alternative dining experience with ‘hawker stalls’ offering cuisine from across the globe. The Ramadhan buffet will feature international dishes as well as traditional Malaysian cuisine.
Vegetarian Briyani
Auntie Belle’s Nyonya Curry Laksa
Ayam Percik
Stir-fry Vietnamese Prawn
Fresh sashimi prepared by Chef Minami of Kogetsu Japanese Restaurant will be on the menu, topped with Senja Italian Restaurant’s Chef Filipo Giunta wth hs authentic Italian cuisine. Nyonya Chef Auntie Belle showcases her one-of-a-kind popiah basah with sweet bean and chilli sauce. There’s also satay and roast lamb. There will be ghazal performances to create the perfect ambience.
Priced at RM105++ for adults and RM52.50++ for children between 6 and 12, this is an al fresco dining experience not to be missed. What Camie liked:-
Auntie Belle’s Curry Laksa “MUST EAT WITH SAMBAL” (flavourful, soup has just the right thickness, not too creamy taste great with lime and sambal) – thumbs up to this dish
Ayam Percik (tender and aromatic *grilled with charcoal) – soft, flavorful, must-have
Rendang Ayam (very tender, can taste the richness of rempah, very mild spiciness)
Grilled Lamb (tender, no gammy taste)
Turkish Ice Cream (gooey texture nice to “bite” on, durian flavor smell and taste great, personally find Jackfruit interesting)
