Canon Marketing Malaysia’s (“Canon”) Consumer System Products division is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of Mega Productivity With Canon, the product launch event of its new printers. In partnership with Thrive Well, the launch was held in conjunction with a yoga retreat to observe World Mental Health Awareness Day.
At the Mega Productivity With Canon event, Canon unveiled its latest additions to the G series, TS series, and GX series of printers, catering to both consumer and business users. These new printer models aim to provide unmatched versatility and performance, catering to the specific needs of businesses and home users.
With this launch, Canon showcased how its new printers are more comprehensive than ever before, offering the perfect printing solution for every customer requirement. Two new vibrant and eye-catching colour series (purple and yellow-green) were introduced in the G series (G2730 and G3730) of 3-in-1 inkjet printers. These new colour variations are designed to add a dash of sophistication to an office environment and inspire productivity. The new dynamic colours will be available exclusively online. The TS series now boasts two new premium photo printers (TS7770 and TS7770A) that deliver stunning and defined prints to elevate creative printing. Additionally, the GX series welcomed several new additions (GX1070, GX2070 and GX5570), completing its lineup of printing solutions for businesses with greater
efficiency for maximum productivity. Besides functionality, the new MegaTank addition elevates any home and work spaces for a more modern look.
Additionally, the event also showcased Canon’s new branding tagline for the well-loved PIXMA G and GX series, now known as MegaTank. The new tagline encapsulates the best features of Canon’s ink tank printers. It emphasises:

- Easy Maintenance with Removable Maintenance Cartridges: MegaTank simplifies printer maintenance with removable maintenance cartridges, ensuring that routine upkeep is a hassle-free process.
- High-Quality Printing on Documents and Photos: The MegaTank consistently delivers high-quality documents and photos, ensuring that every print is a testament to Canon’s dedication to excellence.
- Catering to All Needs: Versatility is at the heart of MegaTank, ensuring that it can cater to a wide range of printing requirements, from everyday documents to stunning photo prints.

The product launch was held in conjunction with a wellness-focused yoga retreat to observe World Mental Health Awareness Day and was held at Utama Farm, a sustainable urban farm in Petaling Jaya. Just as users of the new Canon printers will enjoy precision in print quality, the yoga retreat aimed to provide clarity of mind. For this event, Canon partnered with Thrive Well, its trusted mental health provider partner to strengthen its promotion of mental health awareness. Canon believes that mental well-being is as vital as technological advancement and an important aspect of the company’s pillars in caring for people.
During Mega Productivity With Canon, Canon’s honoured guests were the first to touch and try the new printers, printed images captured during the event, and experienced the remarkable features of the MegaTank printers. The company also invited Ivy Tan, Clinical Director of Thrive Well to deliver a thought-provoking mental wellness talk titled, “Building Resilience with Self-Care.” Ivy shared, “In pursuit of productivity, it is essential to recognise and prioritise self-care. By nurturing your mental and emotional well-being, you fortify yourself to face obstacles and daily stressors with confidence and patience, leading to a healthier body, mind, and lifestyle.”
