When I received my one and only Wonderbox last October, I mentioned that I most wanted to try Clinelle SnoWhite Mask as it promises to hydrate and brighten dull and lack luster skin, resulting in a fairer and more radiant complexion. Actually I tend to take whitening masks with a bigger pinch of salt as I believe one needs to use whitening serum to achieve any skin brightening effects. Any brightening from masks is only temporary from my personal experience.
I was looking through the contents of my beauty boxes and realised that the Clinelle SnoWhite Mask’s expiry date is June 2013! Well, better use it up fast then which shouldn’t be too much of a problem since the tube is only 50ml. I am sure I can finish it by June if I use it twice a week for the next 4 months.
This is a creamy mask with a thin consistency. That amount you see above is enough for my entire face. The instructions on the box state that it’s to be applied for 5-10 minutes. I have it on for at least 10 minutes. Then I rinse it off with lukewarm water.
It has more of a hydrating effect than a brightening one. However, this isn’t the most hydrating mask I have used. It has an average hydrating effect for me. With regard to brightening masks, peel-off masks have had a better effect for me than rinse-off masks like this one.
