During one of the L’oreal Paris warehouse sales, I’d picked up a True Match™ super-blendable concealer which I thought was pretty good for the price but it turned out  to be a rather old version of True Match™ concealer. At that time, I wasn’t aware that it’d long been replaced by True Match™ Touche Magique which comes in 2 shades, W1-2 Light Gold and W3-5 Medium Gold.

Touche Magique Concealers are different from my super-blendable concealer as the former comes in the form of a pen whereby you twist the base for the product to come out from the brush. It’s rather like MAC’s Prep+Prime Highlighter Pen but the Touche Magique pens are slimmer, shorter and smaller.

Initially, twisting the base of the Touche Magique pens took a bit of effort but after the 1st time, it was quite easy and just a little twist is enough to produce the required amount. The texture of the Touche Magique Concealers is creamy and they are easily blendable. The product does not settle into fine lines and lasting power is excellent. There have been days when I have worn it from morning till night and the product does not wear off.

Surprisingly, both shades suit my skin tone. At first, I was wary of using the darker shade, W3-5 Medium Gold but it blends seamlessly into my skin. Once they have been blended, my undereye area doesn’t feel dry or look cakey. I do have quite a dry undereye area, these concealers feel comfortable to wear all day.

True Match ™ Touche Magique concealers retail at RM35.90 but you can sometimes get them at a discount, I have seen them at RM32.30 at Guardian. It’s quite a reasonable price for a concealer of quality.
