Many years ago, my vision was a lot worse than it is now. My eyesight warranted LASIK and that’s what I went for without any regrets as it gave me years of freedom from having to wear glasses/contact lens but over the past few years, particularly since I started blogging, my vision deteriorated again and I had no choice but to revert back to contact lens. I’ve always chosen monthly contact lens although it was always on my mind to try daily lens.
With the monthly contact lens, my eyes feel dry after 8 hours of wear and vision starts to go blur, probably due to deposit build-up. When I was offered CooperVision daily lens for a month’s trial, I jumped at the opportunity since I have always wondered whether there was a difference between daily/monthly lens. CooperVision offers multifocal, daily, or toric lenses (for those with astigmatism).
CooperVision Biomedics® 1 day Extra Contact Lens is designed for day-long comfort. It’s a great starting point for those new to contact lenses or for those monthly lens wearers wanting for the convenience of 1 day contact lenses offer.
Benefits of Biomedics 1 Day Extra:
– 55% water content
– Comfortable lens wear for up to 11 hours
– Healthier eyes (replacing your lenses everyday regularly helps to promote good eye health) no need to deal with the cleaning and storage hassles of conventional contact lenses
The first time I tried on these daily lens, I could feel the difference immediately as vision seemed to be clearer than my monthly lens and my eyes didn’t feel dry even after 11 hours of wear.
If you’d like clearer vision with daily lens (how wonderful it is not to have to store them and you use less saline solution too – good to have some solution around of course in case you need to take them off during the day), CooperVision is offering 5-day trial lenses. All you have to do is sign up at http://coopervision.com.my/trial-lenses (offer valid till 30th April 2014) where you can find out more about CooperVision and the Biomedics lenses. Do take this opportunity as it may change your perception of daily lenses just like I have.
After trying out daily lenses which are a lot more comfortable to me, I really don’t want to go back to my monthly lenses. Life is a lot better with these Biomedics daily lenses and I think I am quite qualified to say this as I have been wearing lenses for years – before my LASIK and after my vision deteriorated again post-LASIK.
thanks for the information =)
Hey Corinne! I just posted a review on the same product hehe~~ And I totally agree with you that it provides me with a clearer vision!
Oh…after reading this post than only I knew that LASIK is not permanent.
No, take it from me. I wish it was permanent.
