Dutch industrial designer, Marcel Wanders collaborated with MAC last year and for this holiday season, he has teamed up with Cosme Decorte for their AQ MW Makeup Coffret II. The coffret is inspired by animals of the winter forest such as reindeers, rabbits, squirrels and birds. These animals are seen on the papercutting on the inner lid of the coffret. The coffret is made of paper and this isn’t a feature I like about it as it makes it feel flimsy and for want of a better word, cheap.

However, the designs on the eyeshadow palette & blush are exquisite (faded on the testers) and so very beautiful that it would take me much resolve to besmirch the surface if I had the coffret in mint condition. Check out the swatches:-

The eyshadow palette alone is worth RM189, colours are extremely neutral beige browns, nothing special for me but it is very wearable since the colours are so earthy. There’s subtle shimmer and texture is fine and smooth.

The blush looks like a dark pink but swatches very faint, this will add a gentle flush to your complexion. The lip balm is lovely and contains gold pearls for that sheen and glimmer. I tried it over my lipstick and it feels very moisturising. The mini brush is so small that I wonder if it’ll be of much use.

A lovely coffret for sure and the price is very reasonable for Cosme Decorte as it’s RM229.
