Compared to other counter brands’ foundations, I’ve always found Lancome foundations to have quite classy packaging. Maqui Blanc Miracle comes in a rather heavy glass (and bulky) bottle with a plastic cap. It looks nice on the dressing table but it does take up space in cosmetics bag.
While Teint Miracle has SPF15, Maqui Blanc Miracle has SPF26, much more appropriate for our climate. One pump dispenses just enough for application all over my face. I use the same method as that recommended for application of Teint Miracle, that is to rub it into skin using circular motions.
This is a very blendable foundation, it doesn’t take long before it’s absorbed nicely into my skin. It gives a very natural, dewy look with its subtle glow. The White Sapphire & Pearls Cocktail Complex is the brightening agent as it neutralizes yellowness.
I like this foundation for its lightweight texture but I do think it just gives medium coverage. You’d need concealer in order to cover up spots or pigmentation. However, if you have near-flawless skin, this is an ideal foundation.
Since I don’t have oily skin, the staying power of this foundation is good. It lasts all day without streaking or me having to powder my face even in extremely humid conditions. This may not be the case for those with oily skin.
Overall, I like this foundation for the brightening effect. Its fluid consistency makes application and blending fuss-free. Furthermore, I don’t need much for each application so this bottle won’t be empty by the end of this year even if I were to use it everyday.
The shade I received for this review is in O-03. Maqui Blanc Miracle is 30ml/RM135.
