There are at least 2 The Brew House outlets in my area but I have never been to any of them. Parking is challenging, if not quite impossible in those areas. The next best thing was to order from The Brew House and get it delivered via ShopeeFood. I ordered 2 items at 5pm yesterday and within 15 minutes, the driver had arrived at the outlet. It didn’t take long for the food to be picked up and he was on his way to me at 5.20pm. The food was delivered at 5.30pm. This is the fastest I have experienced on ShopeeFood as there were times when it took over an hour for the food to be delivered.
In my order, I had requested for tomato sauce because I always dip French Fries in tomato sauce and not chilli sauce. Every time I visit a fast food outlet, I have to request for tomato sauce as I am always given chilli sauce sachets. Anyway, lying on top of the pizza box was a generous tub of tomato sauce. I’d ordered smoked duck and peach pizza @ RM23.80 and grilled chicken @ RM18.80. Prices on ShopeeFood for these foods are just RM1 higher than on The Brew House’s menu so it’s reasonable.
I started with the pizza which has a rather thin crust. It’s enough for 1 person, too small for 2 persons as the crust is super thin actually. Delicious and I like the taste of the mushrooms and peach which totally complement the gamey duck.
The French Fries beneath the chicken were not soft, still retained the crispy texture. Generous amount of coleslaw and mushroom sauce. As for the chicken, I think it was too loaded with black pepper & I was overwhelmed by the spicy flavour. Otherwise it was really good as the skin was crisp and the flesh very tender.
