Embarking on an enchanting journey into the heart of Malaysian heritage, DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside showcases a distinctive architectural blend of diverse cultures. Paired with a wide array of local culinary offerings and Malaysian-centric children’s activities, guests can fully immerse themselves in the country’s culture. The recent introduction of the DoubleTree Studio Residency further enhances the property’s appeal, ideal for travelers seeking an authentic Malaysian experience.
“DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside is dedicated to providing guests with an immersive and authentic experience of Malaysian culture and identity. The hotel already showcases the four main wings representing Malay, Chinese, Indian, and Borneo elements. To further enrich our guests’ stay and achieve our goal, we have integrated distinctive features aligned with five key focus areas: Culture, Food, Family, MICE, and Wellness,” said Jamie Mead, Senior Director of Operations – South East Asia.
Among the 14 newly introduced contemporary room categories, the Family Deluxe room and King 2 Bedroom Suite were thoughtfully designed for guests traveling in larger groups. The Family Deluxe room features a separate living and dining area, while the King 2 Bedroom Suite offers a spacious living area, pantry, and two bedrooms.
DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside boasts a diverse selection of venues for hosting meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and dinners. Each room is named after a Malaysian lake, with the impressive Kenyir Grand Ballroom being the largest, accommodating up to 800 people in a theater-style arrangement. The ballroom features an enhanced LED screen and an open-air multifunctional space, perfect for team-building activities. Additionally, the Temenggor Grand Ballroom, overlooking the scenic Putrajaya Lake, offers couples a memorable setting for their wedding reception, complete with an open amphitheater ambiance. For corporate team-building events, the Marina Watersports Center hosts a variety of exhilarating activities including Dragon Boat races, wakeboarding and cycling.
Culinary enthusiasts are in for a treat at Makan Kitchen, where a vast selection of Malaysian and international cuisines awaits. Guests can indulge in dishes that pay homage to authentic local flavors, with Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, and Peranakan delicacies that tantalize the tastebuds. Moreover, THE KOFFEE, the resort’s lobby lounge, provides a cozy spot to unwind with freshly brewed coffee and delightful pastries, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a good book.
Families will have the opportunity to create lasting memories together at the newly opened Games Room, equipped with board games as well as foosball and table tennis amenities.
