Eclipse launched its Paper Doll Project at MidValley’s South Court this morning. In conjunction with Eclipse’s 15th anniversary, Eclipse is raising funds in support of World Vision. It’s a 4 month long project which actually started on 1st September 2011.

Going back to the days when kids weren’t distracted by video and computer games, Eclipse has brought back paper doll sets which were very popular in the 1970s. Six sets of dolls with their own costumes have been inspired by celebrities such as Carmen Soo, Soo Wincci, Daphne Iking, Xandria Ooi, Vivy Yusof, Hannah Lo and Lina Teoh.

The doll sets are RM20 each and currently available at South Court MidValley and at Eclipse outlets. I was informed that the dolls’ costumes are from Eclipse’s Fall/Winter Collection. There are also sticker sets available for RM10 per set. There is a tinge of nostalgia looking at the doll sets and stickers as they were all the rage among girls so many decades ago.
