It’s been a week since I attended the Enchanti Naturals workshop and I have been using some of the scrubs and bath salts I made under the guidance of Aron, founder of Enchanti Naturals. Coffee is a good ingredient for a scrub as it has high antioxidant properties and is effective to combat wrinkles. It gives gentle exfoliation while its antibacterial properties help fight inflammation. The aroma of coffee gives a calming effect.
To make Enchanti Naturals Coffee Face & Body Scrub, you need used coffee ground, unrefined brown sugar, sweet almond oil and essential oil such as lavender, tea tree, sandalwood, frankincense and geranium. Citrus oils such as lemon aren’t so advisable as they may be harsh to skin.
The brown sugar is blended to a fine texture, then added to the coffee ground. The sweet almond oil which has healing, moisturising and regenerative properties is added to the brown sugar and coffee ground. 5 drops each of lavender and tea tree oil are added. Combine together well and you get a wonderful aromatic Coffee Face & Body Scrub. Store in the fridge to maintain freshness.
