As an introduction to Grand Millennium’s festive foods, the hotel treated a group of bloggers and media to lunch at their Bistro 160 a few days ago. The pastry chef must be extra busy this month and next as he prepares an array of beautiful pastries, most of which are too lovely to eat! Kids will love the various gingerbread pastries.
This is what we tucked into:-
Cheese & Charcuterie Board
Salads in Glasses – Cold
Granny Smith Apple, Celery and Walnut Salad
Roasted Pumpkin with Feta Cheese, Almond Flake and Raisin Salad
Beetroot, Couscous, Pomegranate and French Bean Salad
Main Course – Western
Chicken Roulade + White Bean + Morel Sauce + Brussel Sprouts + Pecan + Cranberry
I have always disliked brussel sprouts with some intensity but strangely enough, I found myself eating every single leaf of this brussel sprouts without even realizing till later that they were brussel sprouts which really is testament to the chef’s accomplishment in making brussel sprouts this palatable.
