While I’ve been fortunate enough to receive many products from Sephora to review, there are a lot more products I’d like to try which aren’t among the batches I receive. After all, there are thousands of skincare and makeup products in Sephora. One of the skincare products on my “to try” list is First Aid Beauty’s Face Cleanser.
First Aid Beauty products are really spartan compared to other brands. No fancy packaging or graphics, they don’t come in boxes either which I think would bump up the price by quite a bit so I am happy to have them just the way they are.
Their Face Cleanser is a creamy cleanser for removing surface oils, skin toxins, make-up, dirt and grime. It’s infused with FAB’s Antioxidant Booster, their blend of powerful botanical antioxidants. It’s very gentle and doesn’t irritate my eyes, foams up nicely when used with my Clarisonic Mia 2. It foams up just as well when I use my hands to create a lather. I gave it the benefit of the doubt that it’d remove make-up but it does leaving no residues.
This Cleanser is recommended for those with sensitive skins. I like this product because it is effective at removing make-up and doesn’t strip my skin of moisture, no tight feeling but on the other hand, my skin doesn’t feel super soft afterwards. It’s quite economical being just a bit more expensive than some drugstore cleansers. Product is fragrance-free.
