The main objective of the L’Oreal Professionnel Colour For Life Campaign is to bring together designers, celebrities, socialites, philanthropists and people who have contributed to our society and salons to raise funds for the children infected and affected by HIV under The Malaysian Aids Foundation.
In addition to the exclusive collaborations with 5 renowned designers, campaign shots with celebrated personalities together with 5 L’Oreal Professionnel Artistic Ambassadors and the sale of the limited edition recycle tote bags, L’Oreal Professionnel took this campaign even further and closer to the public. For the grand finale, L’Oreal Professionnel organized a Charity Hair Cut Drive on the 21st October & 22nd October 2013 at the Centre Court, Ground Floor, Mid Valley Megamall with Mid Valley Management as the venue sponsor.
Joining L’oreal Professionnel in the star-studded media launch were renowned designers Datuk Professor Jimmy Choo Yeang Keat, Dato Tom Abang Saufi, Eric Choong, Winnie Sin, Yong Yoon Li, celebrated personalities Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, Dato Ruby Khong, Deborah Henry, Jack Lim, Deanna Yusoff, Debbie Goh, Yeo Yann Yann, Vanida Imran and many more. This was easily the most colourful charity event with many gorgeous and charitable personalities under one roof!
This campaign’s objective is to create awareness and reinforce the idea that each of us, no matter which industry we are in, who we are, where we come from, can in one way or another make a difference in the lives of these children. The public did their part for charity and got a fabulous hair cut by our L’Oreal Professionnel hair stylists for only RM20.00. Contributions were also made by donating RM25.00 to obtain their favourite designer recycle bags. The hair cut drive was held in Centre Court, Ground Floor, Mid Valley Megamall from 2.30pm-9.00pm on the 21st October 2013 and 11am-9pm on the 22nd October 2013.
RM20 for a hair cut is definitely worth it =) !
