Graze at Hilton KL has a very nice ambiance in that it’s informally classy and Chef Audrey always whips up creative and wholesome meals. For the Festive Menu this year, she presents irresistibly tempting dishes. I checked out Graze’s menu while waiting for the food to arrive at our table during this food tasting session and the prices aren’t as high as I’d expected.
Caesar Salad
Caesar Salad. 62 Degree Egg. Toasted Garlic Brioche and Crispy Beef Bacon
I love Caesar Salad and every food outlet I have ever visited for this salad does it slightly differently. Graze’s version has a semi-cooked poached egg which you can mix into the salad for some “oomph”. The beef bacon is indeed crispy making this an exquisite salad.
Carrot and Ginger Soup
Smooth Carrot Ginger Scented Soup, Scallop and Chestnut Quenelles
This soup doesn’t have a heavy ginger flavor, it is thick and loaded with carrot. This is the 1st time I have had carrot and ginger soup and it’s fantastic.
Steamed Salmon
Roulade of Salmon with Lemon and Dill, Spinach Mousse, Crab Tomato and Lime Beurre Blanc Sauce
Even though I was really full by the time this main course arrived, I wolfed it all down. The salmon is so fresh and goes so well with the slightly tangy lime beurre blanc saunce, full of buttery, creamy flavor.
Duo of Lamb
Marinated Lamb Rack and Lamb Loin, Celeriac Puree, Garden Vegetables and Garlic Jus
Beneath the garden vegetables are crunchy bits of crushed ciabatta bread toasted to perfection with shallots and herbs. The lamb rack and loin are tender and since I love lamb dishes, this would be my first choice at Graze.
Raspberry Cheese Cake
Cheese Cake, Almond Tuiles, Vanilla Ice Cream
The cheese cake is rich yet not heavy. Sweetness balanced by the tangy, sour taste of raspberry. Best way to end a memorable meal at Graze!
