Like most BB Creams, Hada Labo Air BB Cream promises several benefits or should I say many benefits because it actually offers 10 benefits and functions. These are brightening compelexion, perfecting skin tone, protecting skin from UV rays (SPF50+PA+++), concealing, whitening, hydrating, minimizing pores and it has anti-aging, anti-oxidant and oil control properties.
The last few BB Creams I’ve tried didn’t quite live up to expectations but to my surprise, Hada Labo Air BB Cream suited me very well. Firstly, I liked the texture – not too thick nor too fluid. It’s easy to blend and evens out my skin tone giving my skin a bit of a brightening effect. Secondly, I liked how silky my skin felt. It does have a powdery finish and doesn’t sink into my fine lines. It’s quite natural looking on me and I think I can even get away without applying loose powder over it.
Coverage is light to medium which works for me. It has an airy texture thanks to the Silicone Elastomer Blend ingredient which gives it a light feel. Witch Hazel is another ingredient, it’s for reducing sebum secretion and refining pores. This BB Cream gives a matte appearance and it holds. It doesn’t melt away despite humid conditions.
Hada Labo Air BB Cream comes in 2 shades : Natural Beige and Ivory Beige. The shade reviewed here is Ivory Beige. It retails at RM55.90/40g.
