Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Collection has a new addition at Sephora outlets this month. The latest shade is Coral, inspired by Fresh co-founder Alina Roytberg’s trip to a remote island in the Bahamas. She turned to all things tropical when creating this vibrant shade.
Much less sheer and much more opaque and intense than Fresh’s other Lip Treatments, Coral has buildable coverage and is the alternative to lipstick. It doesn’t have a waxy/sticky feeling and goes on quite strong, fading to a hint of coral after a few hours of wear. It’s ultra-creamy and moisturising as it’s enriched with the same nourishing sugar, hydrating oils and anti-aging vitamins as the rest of the Sugar Lip Treatment collection.
It does look a bit different on lips than it does swatched on the back of my hand. Housed in a sleek metal case, this latest shade suits me very well as I like lip balms that can double up as lipsticks, saves the time and trouble of applying lip balm and then lip color. The citrus scent appeals to my senses but as the texture is so creamy, it doesn’t seem to fare very well in our humidity as there are indentations on the sides of the balm after the first use.
Sugar Coral Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15 is available exclusively at Sephora at RM65/4.3g.
