The inaugural KL Chinatown Festival concluded with a resounding success, drawing an impressive 15,000 attendees over three days. From 29 November to 1 December 2024, the festival transformed Kuala Lumpur’s historic Chinatown into a dynamic hub of culture, creativity, and community, celebrating the rich heritage that defines this iconic district.
Spearheaded by REXKL and Kwai Chai Hong, the festival united community leaders and local partners to transform cultural landmarks like Lorong Panggung, REXKL, and Kwai Chai Hong into dynamic creative hubs, complemented by vibrant local businesses, cafes, and art spaces. The event offered an immersive experience that blended Chinatown’s old-world charm with modern vibrancy, bringing its unique character to life.
