Part of Laneige’s new Brightening Sparkling range, the Peeling Mask is rather unique because the liquid that normally soaks the sheet mask is kept separate from the sheet mask until it’s time to be used. It takes a bit of effort to squeeze all the liquid from the bottom half of the sachet to the sheet mask but it all takes less than a minute to soak the sheet mask.
To reiterate, this is a new concept peeling mask which provides “peeling + moisturizing” effects all at once. The fresh carbonation and peeling substances are formed instantly upon opening the product. Keeping the carbonated water separate keeps the properties active until the mask is ready for use.
There’s slight tingling around my chin and those with sensitive skins may feel tingling on their cheeks. This is due to the AHA/BHA ingredients which exfoliate skin. Ten minutes is the recommended application time. It’s best to apply this lying down so that the mask adheres nicely to skin.
The result is much brighter skin after 10 minutes.
