Laneige Snow BB Cream is available in 2 shades and that’s not bad considering most brands’ BB Creams only come in 1 shade that’s supposed to fit all skin tones. However, this being Laneige, both shades are for fair complexions. The first has shimmer and probably isn’t too suitable for oily skins – after all, when you have oily skin, the last thing you want is more glow. The second is a natural shade and that’s the shade I prefer and have tried.
Compared to other brands’ BB Creams, Laneige’s has pretty high SPF and I don’t feel the need to slap on a higher SPF sunscreen before applying this BB Cream. It’s a peachy toned cream which doesn’t have an overly thick consistency. It’s easy to blend into skin.
This could be a good alternative to foundation as it doesn’t feel heavy or cakey but I only use it on days I don’t feel I need full coverage. The staying power isn’t fantastic. It’s fine for short hours of wear but after 3 hours, it tends to look patchy on the T-zone area. I don’t think it offered me enough moisturisation. My skin felt a bit tight and dry while it was on.
Some may consider this decent value because it comes in a 50ml tube/RM115. It’s one of the more affordable counter brand BB Creams.
Note : This review is based on a 10ml sample of the BB Cream.
