Gel moisturisers are always a welcome product in my beauty stash as their lighter texture is ideal for this humidity. Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream_EX is a gel moisturizer that doesn’t compromise on the hydrating factor. Apparently, this one lowers skin temperature as soon as it touches skin but since I don’t have one of those devices to check, I can’t confirm this. The key ingredient for lowering skin temperature is Hydro Ion Mineral Water which reduces skin surface temperature by 2.4°C (Tested on skin in high temperatures to verify 2.4°C drop in surface temperature).
Polysaccharides extracted from cypress trees that grow in cold climates keep skin soft while the gel cream reacts to excess sebum to keep skin shine-free. This is a soothing and cooling moisturizer. I even use it at night, feels a bit like the famous Water Sleeping Mask in texture.
