A lot of brands have anti-ageing products but not that many have anti-ageing products specifically for certain age groups, for example those over 30 or 35 need more potent anti-ageing skincare than those below 30. Lapurete Okuru Range – Nature’s Wrinkle Treatment
Lapurete is the world’s first range of anti-wrinkle products containing a natural Botox alternative, Okuru. Okuru is a plant native to a remote part of Western Africa, where locals have been using it for centuries for its high nutritional food value and skin benefits.
A few years ago French scientists set out to investigate the secret behind the local inhabitants’ flawless skin and discovered that Okuru contains a combination of peptides that minimise wrinkles in a similar way to Botox, but are natural, safe and can be applied topically without the need for invasive injections.

This is a gentle milky cream cleanser which removes dirt and impurities, I have been using it to remove make-up too and it removes almost all make-up. I’d suggest a separate eye make-up remover for complete and thorough cleansing even though it’s stated that it can whisk away facial and eye make-up. It has a toning effect on skin but I still use a toner after this. The first time I used this, my skin felt a bit slippery as if I couldn’t rinse away all the cleanser but I got used to it subsequently. It doesn’t make my skin feel taut and dry.
The cleanser contains Okuru and passionflower which has been used by the indigeneous people of the Amazon for centuries for treating skin conditions, enhancing relaxation and as an aphrodisiac (doubt they ever need Viagra!).
Step 2- Revitalizing Eye Crème
Targets all 3 signs of ageing around the eyes: wrinkles, under eye bags and dark circles. The skin around the eye area is delicate and is where the most visible signs of ageing appear.

(Night) Revitalising Night Crème : An extract from the Resurrection Plant drenches the skin with intense moisturization to combat the harsh ageing effects of dry skin.
These two moisturisers are extremely hydrating and great for softening and smoothing skin especially if you use a facial oil before applying them.
In addition, Lapurete offers a Gentle Crème Facial Exfoliant that contains jojoba beads to gently exfoliate and reveal a fresh, smooth layer of skin, allowing your skin to better absorb your Okuru anti-ageing products and a highly concentrated Okuru Double Intensity Serum for those who demand more intensive and faster results.
