Liese was launched in Malaysia in April, 2010 and at that time, it was said to be Japan’s No. 1 Hair Styling brand but I’m not sure if it still holds that position. This is the brand with the revolutionary Bubble Hair Colour where the colour is infused into hair by shampooing the product into hair.
Liese Hair Cocktail is a bi-layered hair serum with nourishing water and anti-frizz oil that combines after a few shakes of the bottle. It contains peach leaf extract and prune essence and is suitable for extremely dry and damaged hair.
It is like a medium thick liquid that is absorbed into hair easily without any sticky feeling afterwards. Although it can be used on damp or sry hair, I always use it after my hair wash as I don’t see the necessity of applying it in between shampoos. Anyway, I wouldn’t remember to.
There is a light peachy scent to this serum which I don’t really smell on my hair afterwards, maybe the smell has worn off since it’s been more than a year since I got it. My hair doesn’t feel much different after applying it. I don’t think there’s been any improvement either with regard to moisturisation or shine.
Liese Hair Cocktail Moisturising Hair Serum 120ml is priced at RM32. There is also a Lite version.
