The Styledriven Collection has plenty of lip products, 31 in total. There are 12 lipsticks, 9 lip glasses & 10 lip pencils to choose from. These lip products are supposed to be more long-lasting than those in MAC’s permanent range.
Show Me! Lipglass is described as a mid-tone neutral plum, it’s a natural shade which looks great on its own and can be complemented with virtually any eye shadows. It has a sponge-tip applicator which is differently shaped from the Cremesheen Glass. The Pro Longwear Lipglass applicators are spatula shaped which makes it easier to scoop up the lipglass and apply it evenly on lips.
Although I was skeptical that it had better staying power, I was proved wrong. There was still quite a bit of colour on my lips after a few slices of bread and a cup of tea. I think that the scent is slightly stronger than the Cremesheen Glass. It’s moisturising and gives a nice sheen to my lips.
Pro Longwear Lipglass retail at RM80 each.
Lip pencils are products that I generally do without as I’m too lazy unless it’s for a special occasion like dinners where I want my lipstick to last as long as possible. The Pro Longwear Lip Pencils do extend the staying power of lipsticks but I found them to be too drying when I applied them all over my lips.
Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Nice ‘N’ Spicy is pinkish and complements pink/rose lipsticks while Bittersweet is incredibly brown. I haven’t decided which lipsticks to pair Bittersweet with yet. Even if I were to use the Lip Pencils on a daily basis, I reckon they’d last a long time.
The Lip Pencils retail at RM85.
