Once upon a time, there was a little girl who daydreamed a lot about a faraway land called Denmark because she’d read most of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales. Other than “The Little Mermaid”, her favourite Hans Christian Andersen tales were “The Snow Queen”, “The Little Match Girl”, “The Nightingale” and “The Princess and the Pea”. She read them over and over again and dreamt that one day she might visit Denmark but alas, she hasn’t to this day. The next best thing for this now grown woman was to meet a lady from the land of her childhood fairy tales. Yes, that little girl was me and I had the opportunity to meet Tilde Sauer who is Beaute Pacifique’s Trainer as she was in town for a week.
I was invited by Beaute Pacifique to have my skin analysed and thereafter for a mini facial by the very experienced Tilde who has been with the brand for the last 10 years. My session with Tilde at their counter in Robinson’s started with an ultra-sound scanning of my skin which would reveal whether I had the skin of someone my age or (yikes!) older.
The more colours (other than black) that appear on the screen, the better condition your skin is in. Sadly, my analysis results showed not that many bright colours like green yellow and red which indicated collagen presence. Beaute Pacifique’s Crème Metamorphique promises to increase collagen production after 90 days. Looking at the image of my skin analysis, I think I need a jar of that.
Off to the facial cabin we went where I was treated to a half hour mini facial. Tilde purchased a pair of triangular puffs from AEON Wellness, in fact she liked these puffs so much that she cleared their stock. I must go and have a look when they replenish. After cleansing with Enriched Cleansing Milk, Tilde applied an exfoliator (for professional use only) which had a lovely botanical scent. She left it on for about 3 minutes. Nice, smooth effect.
After removing the exfoliator, Tilde removed any residues with the Enriched Toner – Dry Skin and it was on to the Deep Pore Cleansing Mask which is green thanks to 3 types of Japanese clay. It felt cool and Tilde recommends that it be used on damp skin if you have dry skin but it is okay to use on dry skin if your skin is oily.
The Deep Pore Cleansing Mask binds and releases all excessive oily substances from the surface of the skin. Leave the mask on for 10 minutes or until it is dry. It didn’t feel terribly tight. I believe it’s good to have all the impurities removed even if one has dry skin.
The next part of the facial was my favourite as Tilde massaged my face after she’d applied the Instant Hydrating Mask which recovers lost moisture balance. It contains squalane and other moisture retaining ingredients. It can be used as an overnight mask. This mask felt so soothing and comforting.
Among Beaute Pacifique’s customers are the very rich and fanous. The brand is well loved by the Royal Family of Denmark. The Queen of Denmark visited the brand’s factory a few years ago and I understand that Crown Princess Mary also uses their products.
After the facial, my skin was glowing and felt hydrated. It was only a mini facial yet the results could be seen. I was introduced to the brand’s latest product, Submersive Serum Paradoxe. It contains two new, active ingredients, Procyanidin and Resveratrol, which are Submersive Serum Paradoxe extracted from grapes from the Andes, where the sun’s UV-radiation is very severe. It provides anti-oxidative defense against free radicals and reduce aging signs. It also contains skin-compatible Squalane to submerge the ingredients and replenish what’s lost in sun-damaged and aged skin and two types of vitamin E.
I enjoyed my time with Tilde and I’m glad to have had the opportunity to learn more about the brand from her. I may not have been to the land of my beloved fairy tales yet but at least I managed to meet one of their citizens. Having been through the mini facial, I am sure one can live happily ever after with Beaute Pacifique products.
The hydrating effect is very obvious and promising! I wish I could have a chance to scan my face and see how the result will be haha.
You can get a complimentary scan any time at their Robinson’s counter but I am sure you have plenty of collagen!
Oh that’s great!!! I will go and have a scan if I happen to go to Robinson ^^ Hopefully my skin is not older than my age hehe~
Woah! That Ultrasound scanning looks really scientific!
