Living Nature organised a skincare workshop last week in conjunction with Eco Lifestyle’s eco Model International Search. The aim of the organic DIY hands-on workshop was to inform the participants of the benefits of using organic skincare products and how to care for their skins the natural way.
The eco Model International Search aims to find individuals with a healthy and balanced lifestyle, who are environmentally friendly and care for the community. This pageant is meant to reinvent and improve the concept of beauty competitions, with the belief that beauty queens can be great and effective advocates of worthy causes, consistent with the Government initiatives on green growth and green economy.
While not organic, Living Nature products are 100% natural and contain Active Manuka Honey. The fragrances in the products are natural essential oils and the ingredients consist of plants indigeneous to New Zealand such as Harakeke, Kumerahou & Totarol.
During the workshop, participants were guided on how to cleanse their skins properly through to applying masks tailored to their skin types. Basins of water were provided on their tables so that they could go through the skincare steps conveniently.
The winner will be announced at a Gala Dinner on 30th July 2011. Good luck to all the contestants & may the most eco-friendly win so that she can spread the message of eco-awareness in our country.
