This Exfoliating Gel is also one of the extensions to L’occitane’s Angelica range. I believe that a scrub is a necessary product in the cleansing process otherwise how are we to achieve greater skin clarity? Using an exfoliator 2-3 times a week does make a difference to my skin texture and appearance.
L’occitane Angelica Exfoliating Gel is formulated with natural exfoliating particles, plant-gum micro-beads and extracts of Organic Angelica. It has a creamy paste-like texture and when I massage it on to my face (recommended massage time is 30 seconds), it stays put on my skin. The particles are extremely fine and non-abrasive.
Other than removing dead skin cells and impurities, the Exfoliating Gel claims to also improve microcirculation. This is a good product to prepare skin for a mask. After all, what’s the point of applying a nutritious mask if it doesn’t absorb as effectively as it should?
The scent of the Exfoliating Gel is quite mild but in any case, a stronger scent would not have bothered me as I rather like the Angelica scent. It’s very refreshing and rejuvenating. Since I’ve been using this product for the past couple of weeks, my skin looks brighter and feels softer. Even if you have sensitive skin, you might find this one not so abrasive and harsh.
L’occitane Angelica Exfoliating Gel retails at RM107/75ml.
