As the creative force behind the popular Chocolate Bar at The Club at Marina Bay Sands, Chef Luna has incorporated his favorite ingredient into his delectable mooncake creations. The pièce de résistance is the handcrafted ‘Dark Chocolate Orange’ snowskin mooncake, which marries the rich flavors of dark chocolate with a touch of tanginess from the orange. Another must-try is the ‘Salted Caramel Almond Crunch’ snowskin mooncake, which pairs the robustness of velvety caramel and chocolate with the textured bite of the almond nuts. Both fillings are made from premium Valrhona chocolate. Fans of traditional tastes can choose the classic flavors of the ‘White Lotus Seed Paste with Double Yolk’ mooncake. It features exquisitely smooth and creamy white lotus seed paste encased in baked golden-hued pastries, representing traditional goodness.
The mooncakes are packaged in an exquisite box that reflects Chef Luna’s modern interpretation of the classic Chinese handicraft – the lantern. The intricate box retains the traditional elements of a timeless Chinese lantern and adds a contemporary twist with a specially designed spiral box that opens up to reveal four delectable mooncakes.
