This trend is about punctuations of shine against matte providing an endless repertoire of plays on light from neutral metallics (predominantly gold with forays into copper, pewter and silver) through to literal gloss. It’s a metallic trend with soft, glowing skin.

According to Romero Jennings, year after year designers challenge makeup artists to use less and less makeup so the challenge is to make the models look like there is nothing on them, adding luminosity and light to their skin.

On this model, Romero used the following products:-

1. Matchmaster Foundation

2. Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone on top of foundation as a liquid powder like a clear primer tapping it on with the 159 brush

3. Careblend Powder, a truly matte powder for high definition

4. Bittersweet PRO Longwear Lip Pencil

5. Extended Play & Haute & Naughty Mascara

6. Discotheque Nail Lacquer

Metallics like bronzes, silvers and golds are used in this trend and placement is very important with highlighted cheeks.
