MAC Cremesheen Glass In Looks Like Sin

There are 5 Cremesheen Glasses in MAC’s Semi Precious Collection and Looks Like Sin is one of them, it’s also my favourite shade of the 5. Looks Like Sin is described as “midtone reddish plum” on MAC’s official website.

It looks like a berry plum colour to me, which is right up my alley. Over the years, I’ve developed a certain fondness for lip colours which look similar to Looks Like Sin. These are everyday colours, nothing too dramatic yet not too understated either.

Looks Like Sin is an extremely wearable shade, it is intense enough to be worn on its own without having to apply over lipstick and that’s how I like to wear lipglosses. I prefer to wear lipstick or lipgloss on its own although I suppose you could wear lipgloss over lipstick for longer staying power.

In terms of its staying power, I have no complaints because there is still colour on my lips even after I’ve drank a cup of water/beverage. If I don’t eat/drink, there is no fading for 2-3 hours of wear. It gradually fades into a very natural lip colour.

In my experience with MAC’s Cremesheen Lipglasses though, they do get used up quite fast if used on a daily basis. Perhaps that is due to the fact that there is just 2.7g of product. Otherwise, I do like the texture of Cremesheen Lipglasses as they aren’t sticky and I like the softness of the applicator.

Cremesheen Lipglasses retail at RM80 each.
