MAC Freshen Up Highlight Powder has been sold out at every MAC outlet I’ve been to. It’s multi-purpose as you can use it as a blush or highlighter and you get 4 shades in one pan. Each shade is big enough for your brush to sweep over without going into another shade and the powder is very soft.

What you get if you sweep all 3 shades together is a coral shade which is flattering on all skin tones. It’s a beautiful highlighter and guess what, it so happens I have one (1) to give away so here’s how you enter……

  1. Juniper Journals help me to stay updated with happening in town like new product launching, skincare review, bodycare review, cosmetic review as well as food review! This somehow increase my awareness on the latest trend and I can share these updates with my friends and colleagues.

Apart from that, I decided to try on the new drugstore brand by Daylong from Cetaphil after finishing my current sunscreen. One more thing is I get to save up some money on the Innisfree Camellia Essential Hair Oil Serum, as the texture is not as good as its competitor products and the effect of the oil does not last long for dry hair.

  2. Juniper’s Journal is an excellent reference to the latest updates not only on beauty industry but also on food, household, and many other things. There were several times after I read reviews on Juniper’s Journal, I ran out, almost immediately, to the nearest pharmacy/counter to purchase the items. Your reviews have helped me save a lot money, time and fuss from “trial and error”. Gives me the courage to venture other brands, besides my staple products. Amazingly, they do work and some even better and wallet-friendly! I read your review the other day on those interesting sponges in Aeon Wellness, but I couldn’t find them at my area. I guess my area is a bit too ulu. Haha. But I’m not gonna give up, I’m gonna continue my search at other bigger Aeon malls. And you are definitely the most hardworking blogger that I’ve come across so far! So many articles in a day. Keep up the good work!

  3. Hahaha, the sold out highlight powder! Luckily I didn’t miss it! 😀

Juniper Journal has updated me with some latest products, no matter they are skincare or cosmetic products. I also rarely find useful review on MAC products except from your website! 🙂 I especially love when you reviewed on some of the small small things found in Daiso like Daiso stickers!! 🙂 I love to shop and walk inside Daiso as there are so many cute little things to buy, especially stickers! Your sincere food reviews also allow me to decide whether to pay that particular restaurant a visit.

By the way, nice to meet you that day although you left earlier, hopefully i can meet you again in the upcoming events, hahaha!
Thanks for giveaway again ya! 🙂

  4. Oh that coral shade is very natural on your cheek!

Juniper Journal allows me to get the first hand news on beauty, food and lifestyle news. I can have a sneak peek at the latest make up/skin care products launched in the market even without having to leave my doorstep; I can also get myself updated with the good and bad restaurants in the town; I can know which spa/facial centre provides the best service too! Basically I will check if a beauty product is performing its functions as it claimed from JJ before I finally make the purchase from the store. For make up products, I like to see the swatches and shades on your skin before I try them myself (the lighting in the stores can be deceiving sometime! Thus I like to check them under your camera lens hehe~)

  5. I read Juniper’s journal blog :-
    For initial product investigation
    For inspiration.
To narrow down my purchase options.
    To confirm their purchase choices.
She provides me info such as:-

    Price of item:-
    Where to purchase the item
    Packaging description
    How to use the product
    Makeup and food promotions available
Her personal experience and opinion on the product after using it.

  6. Thank you for the giveaway!

    1. I first stumbled upon Juniper’s blog because Juniper updates her blog with honest reviews about the beauty products. Besides, you tested it and not just have a general review. I like it that there is also before and after! Some bloggers just have their selfies all over which I think doesn’t help me to make decision in purchasing the products!

Besides, your swatches on the makeup items are much accurate than what I see it on the brands’ website. it is easier to recommend makeup products to my friends because of the skin tone. Besides, I also like how you describe your makeup products in detailed and also the texture.

I like it that you do not restrict to only department brands but also recommend drugstore products which are good and budget friendly for students! After all not many can afford department brands all the time.

I love and was really glad that you took the trouble to find out the prices of products for us readers! In fact, I think it is really necessary to know the price of products and food because it will sure affect our decision to purchase it! I don’t want to be shamed on not knowing how much a product cost!

Lastly, I just love your honesty! Even if the product are free, your review is still honest and not raving about the products without the ‘before’ and ‘after’. I saw some people who raves about certain products but then no before and after or i do not see any differences in their skin at all.

Anyway, thank you and keep up your good work!

  7. I like Juniper’s Journal blogs and reviews due to the good reviews on products that is new to the market. Frankly, some of these brands I have never heard before and I find that you really give introduction to the products. How it had help me with my future purchases? I would say most of the time I would be curious enough to try the products out after reading on your blog on the ingredients and the price of the particular product. I find that you really do give good honest opinions on the products and food written. Sometimes your pictures even make my mouth water to want to try it out.

There are also good tips that I pick up in most of your workshops that you attended. I find even sometimes ihave already read your reviews on your blog before even the event has been covered by the media.

Keep it up Juniper’s Journal! My fodder for thoughts and a place to find reviews of items needed.

  8. The reason why I read this blog regularly is firstly it has information about so many things that others speak about much later for instance Estée Lauder staff sale I dint see any one else writing about the sale till a week after the sale but you were up with the details the same evening I don’t know how you do it but yes I think that’s what most of your readers must be here for!!
I mostly go check on make up and skin care that I read about on Junipers Journal as that interests me the most!!
i was not too particular about my face was as I have normal skin but then I had this giveaway from you burt bees face wash (the aroma is amazing) and after using that I don’t think I can switch to any other brand for my face wash i am hooked to it. If it was not for the giveaway I don’t think I would have bothered to check it.
Another product that I came across your blog was redken curvaceous range as I got my hair permed and wanted something to make them look good and take care of, It was an old post but it helped me decide that I would want to go to the store look up at the range talk to the stylist there and bought the shampoo conditioner and the ringlet which I am very satisfied with In fact some people even asked me what do I use for my curls since they had bad experience after perming earlier.
