After the 2,000th post was posted, I really wanted to slow down the pace of posts as I don’t see much point in being so hard-working. I mean it won’t increase the number of FB followers or comments here but I am grateful to those of you who frequently comment. However products have been received and I am obliged to review. Currently, I have 2 weeks’ worth of reviews in my drafts folder, there’s a lot of congestion and I am surprised since I don’t get invited to as many events or receive as many products as others.
So having said that, I have to put up a lot of MAC reviews in the next few days as Fantasy Of Flowers will be launched on Monday and thanks to MAC Malaysia, I get to feature all their major collections, it’s nice of them to have included me in all their important events and launches these past few years. They are also the only beauty brand who has allowed me such privileged and backstage access to fashion shows. I am especially grateful to them for inviting me to interview their international make-up artists face-to-face.
Okay on with the review. Galaxy Rose Cremesheen Glass is one of the 6 lipglass in the Fantasy Of Flowers collection (I am so looking forward to checking out the pigments as one of them is calling my name!) and is a rose violet pink. I liked this shade the moment I saw the tube.
There’s no shimmer but is it glossy or what. Of course it will look more opaque over lipstick, not to mention look nicer too but there’s nothing imperfect about wearing it on its own. I love the glossiness and it keeps my lips hydrated. Lasts for about 3 hours without fading even if I have had a drink. It’s a lovely shade and one I would purchase in a heartbeat.
MAC Galaxy Rose Cremesheen Glass retails at RM80/2.7g. It is a repromote from the Heavenly Creatures collection in 2012.
ooh, I like the none fading even when drinking +). Thanks for the review
oohhhhhhh! got to keep my eyes peeled open today for the new collection!
I have to say that these colours really look good on you!
There are times in life that we don’t know why are we working so hard and never get the paybacks we want. But then these works are probably the leaping stones for the next success. Cheers Corinne! Some readers are reading but they just don’t leave comments~ ^^
Many thanks for your kind words. I don’t mind there being few comments, it’s other stuff that sometimes seems so intolerable!
