As regular reader Ida Zurina correctly pointed out, most of the MAC Is Beauty lipstick are lustres which is a bit of a disappointment as lustres while being very hydrating, don’t last as long as other textures such as Amplified. I also tend to stay away from lustres unless I am seriously hung up on the colour and cannot get it out of my mind unless I get my hands on it but generally I have more Amplified than Lustre.
So since I was checking out all the MAC Is Beauty lipsticks, MAC Is Beauty Call The Hairdresser Lipstick caught my eye. This is a coral rose shade which I thought was quite beautiful in the tube and couldn’t resist trying out.
It has a very nice glossy sheen but unfortunately it didn’t last long. I was still walking around KLCC when it began to fade. This one definitely needs a lip primer otherwise you have to keep re-applying even when you are not eating or drinking.
Oh I never like to use lip primer…
