Bright Forecast is one of MAC’s 3 highlighter pens which came out a few months ago, the other 2 being Light Boost and Radiant Rose. These are not. strictly speaking, concealers but I think they can double up as concealers if you don’t have a serious dark eye circle problem.
Light Boost is the lightest of the highlighters and Bright Forecast is the darkest which makes it a suitable highlighter for darker skin tones. It’s creamy and glides on to skin very well. It doesn’t cake or settle into fine lines.
From the pic above, you can see how much darker Bright Forecast is compared to Radiant Rose which is much more appropriate for my light skin tone. Bright Forecast is too peachy orange to work as a highlighter on me. It makes my skin appear sallow instead of brightening up.
While I usually use my fourth finger to tap the Highlighter on to my undereye area, you may prefer to use a concealer brush. It only take a slight twist of the pen to dispense enough product for each application. Sometimes too much product comes out accidentally and I have to wipe the brush so that the excess doesn’t stain the cap.
