MAC Wonder Brushes For Great Makeup

Choosing the right MAC brushes for our make-up needs can take some time even for those who are familiar with MAC. There are so many brushes of all shapes and sizes. One thing is for certain though, a full-size MAC is top quality and lasts a long, long time which makes the price justifiable. I should know as my MAC brushes have withstood repeated cleaning and look almost as good as new.

In this post, it’s my pleasure to introduce these 6 brushes to you:-

1. 128 Split Fibre Cheek Brush

Has a combination of natural and synthetic fibres and is a multi-purpose brush as it can be used to apply liquids like moisturiser, Strobe Cream and foundation using the synthetic (lighter side) of the brush. To apply loose powder, use the natural (darker side) of the brush.

2. 130 Short Duo Fibre Brush

Blend of natural bristles and synthetic fibres, this short, round, flat-topped brush is ideal for the smooth, easy application of foundations, creams (e.g. cream blush), emulsions, and select powder products. Creates a natural and dewy finish with cream blush and a matte effect with powder blush.

3. 235 Split Fibre All Over Eye Brush

Synthetic and natural hairs, this one is for blending and application of cream and powder products. Use the synthetic (light side) for cream products and natural (dark side) for powder products. Use the synthetic side for browbone area and natural side on eye crease.

4. 109 Small Contour Brush

Use on the face to apply, blend or contour powder products. Softly rounded dome tip delivers just enough colour; smoothly blends colour into the face. Of natural fibres. Suitable for applying Mineralize Skin Finish above blush to give skin a sheen.

5. 286 Duo Fibre Tapered Blending Brush

Has a soft dome shape, this two-toned, duo-fibre brush of goat and synthetic fibres provides a sheer, more controlled application of M·A·C Mineralize Eye Shadow. Ideal for applying concealer and highlighter on eyes.

6. 194 Concealer Brush

A concealer brush with synthetic fibres which doubles up as a lip brush.
