While we beauty addicts/junkies are always on the look-out for the latest in the world of make-up, it always feels good to be able to spend on these products knowing that our purchase has made a difference to someone’s life. Now we can make a difference by joining Mary Kay in changing the lives of women and children worldwide by participating in their cause-related marketing program, Beauty That Counts®.
In Malaysia from 16th May to 31st December 2013, RM3 will be donated from each sale of the Mary Kay limited-edition (while stocks last) Beauty That Counts® Nourishine Plus™ lip gloss in “Celebrate” and Mary Kay creme lipstick in “One Woman Can”.
I like the design and colours of the lipstick and lip gloss. I especially love the beautiful intertwining dark pink and maroon shades on the lipstick, so lovely that I really didn’t want to use it. The lipstick is creamy and gives excellent colour pay-off while the lip gloss isn’t that sheer. These are pink tones that certainly appeal to me.
Through the years, Mary Kay Malaysia has collaborated with Pusat Kebajikan HOPE Worldwide Kuala Lumpur through Beauty That Counts® Campaign. This year, Pusat Kebajikan HOPE Worldwide Kuala Lumpur has a need for medication and refurbishment for their free clinic located at Sentul Kuala Lumpur. Mary Kay Malaysia will donate proceeds from the sale of the limited-edition Beauty That Counts® Mary Kay lip products to help raise funds to aid HOPE’s underprivileged patients with improved medical care.
Beauty That Counts® Nourishine Plus™ lip gloss in “Celebrate” and Mary Kay creme lipstick in “One Woman Can” retail at RM55 each.
