The 15th successive Malaysia International Gourmet Festival (MIGF) and fourth Taste MIGF were both announced at a media launch at Berjaya Times Square on Friday afternoon. MIGF 2015 theme is “Galactic Chefs! 2015 : A Food Odyssey”.
From 1st to 31st October 2015. local diners and international visitors are in for a real treat as 25 of Malaysia’s finest restaurants serve up Special Festival Menus at Special Festival prices accompanied by a host of Special Festival Offers. Additionally, the general public will also be able to get a preview of things to come at Taste MIGF which will take place at Berjaya Times Square from 11am to 10pm on Saturday the 5th and Sunday 6th September 2015.
Taste MIGF will allow tourists and locals alike to sample food from all the festival restaurants as they gather together under one roof in a specially designed Theatre of Cuisines. All they need to do is buy Gourmet Dollars at the venue on the day of the event or in advance for a discount at www.taste.migf.com Taste MIGF will also feature a Gourmet Village and a range of Master Chef cooking classes headed by Malaysia’s own food tourism ambassador, Chef Wan.
This year, the participating restaurants include those from Kuala Lumpur’s 5-star hotels – The Hilton KL’s Iketeru and Graze, Renaissance’s Dynasty, Resort World Genting’s L’TITUDE, Imperial Rama and The Olive, Shangri-La’s Lafite and Shang Palace, Westin KL’s Qba Latin Bar & Grill and Berjaya Times Square Hotel’s Sampling On The Fourteenth.
The independent restaurants feature Aliyaa, Busaba Thai, Dewakan, Enak KL, Maison Francaise, Marini’s On 57, Minori, Neroteca, Nerovivo, Ruyi & Lyn, Soleil, Tanzini, The Oak Room, Vineria.IT and Zender’s Restaurant & Bar.
