Although I was at 1 Utama on the day it opened its doors for business, I didn’t step inside then as the staff were busy and so it was only a few days ago that I had the opportunity to have a closer look at the outlet. It may look a lot smaller than the KLCC outlet but all the Melvita bestsellers are there and I do like this outlet more, perhaps it’s more cosy, perhaps it’s the brighter lighting, perhaps it’s the lay-out or perhaps it’s the 2 friendly and very, very nice staff in the pic above.
At the moment, there are a lot of seasonal value packs available as well as sets exclusively for members’ purchase. Yes, Melvita has membership privileges which can be yours with a RM100 purchase (until today!) but fret not, these privileges can still be yours with a RM200 purchase from 1st January 2012.
Every purchase of RM1 is equivalent to 10 points. A minimum purchase of RM500 = 5,000 points within a year will entitle the member to a RM50 voucher which has to be redeemed within 3 months. Redemption months are March, July & November. Members are entitled to a RM20 voucher on their birthdays which has to be redeemed within a month.
