I’ve used L’oreal White Perfect Range during my teenage time. As I was a sports player last time, I was often under the sun. And I don’t care about putting on sunscreens. But by using the basic cleanser, toner and moisturiser from the range did somewhat worked on me. However, later on I stopped skin brightening regime and changed to oil-controlling and hydrating instead. Now that my skin is more hydrated and sebum secretion is well-controlled, I would like to focus on skin brightening again. Brighter skin makes a person look more energetic and bright. This Melvita brightening products might be a good starter!

Have been busy with the CNY house clean up recently and didn’t have much time to visit your site. So happened to see this post as I enter your website haha~

I used Nano White whitening& brightening serum before and it works very well on me. The serum is light, non-sticky and non-oily on my face. I have been using it for half-a-year and when I checked on its effect by comparing my recent photos with my old photos last year, I found that my face is obviously brighter and has a more even complexion. I will definitely return to it because it really works on me and it is relatively cheaper comparing to some other counter brands. Another brand that I really like is Secret White brightening cream. I used this cream for like 1 and half year when I was 13-14 years old. My mum bought this cream for me from Guardian. This cream is amazingly good!!! My skin was brightened very much during the period of usage! I loved the cream so much and asked my mum to replenish when I finished the first tub. However, this brand doesn’t produce brightening cream anymore and now I can’t even find Secret White anymore 🙁

I use Garnier – Skin Naturals Light Moisturizing Cream SPF 15 and it actually work to make my skin fairer and lighten up my acne scar.However, this may not suitable for oily skin as I feel greasy on my T zone. However,it really help to even my skin complexion and somehow it brighten up my skin~Plus,it is quite cheap and I have used this since I started my hostel life and till now I am still using it ^ ^
Besides,I would love to try out Melvita products as I am interested in natural origin products~

My favourite brightening skincare is glow by dr. brandt ruby crystal retinol hydracrème.
I’ve just finish my 1st bottle and using the 2nd one now.
Dr Brandt is still new in our country, previously, I bought it from Sephora. Recently I can spot them in more places!
I dont have any serious skin problem on my face, thus i emphasize on the brightening and flawless of skin. Before this, my skin look dull and dark, and my hubby always complain on this, asking me to use more sun protector to look more like a ‘snow white’ 🙁
Honestly, i did used sun protector daily and avoid myself from the sun, but still my face look so dull..After using dr. brandt ruby crystal retinol for few weeks, at 1st was my hubby who notice the difference! My so happy when he praised that i look more fair than b4 😀
So i compare myself with my photos before i tried dr. brandt ruby crystal retinol. I was amazed by its effectiveness! My skin now look really radiance & glow, easily reflect light as if i apply makeup ( but i didn’t) and the lines & wrinkles on my face are also minimized!

I find that most people misunderstand the concept of brightening as the same as whitening. Brightening products brighten a skin for a radiant skin with a glow but it is not necessary to lighten the skin by few tones or getting red of dark spots. It is good to use brightening products for those with dull skin or simply just to even out the skin tone. Some would ask me why do I need brightening products when I am already fair?? Don’t worry, brightening products would not make you look like vampire or ‘Edward Cullen’.

I haven’t venture into using brightening skincare products now because all the while I have been trying to get rid of my acne problem. Once I tried using brightening and it also contain whitening ingredients that caused me to break out even worse than before. Only then that i know brightening and whitening products contain potent ingredients that can cause break out to those with acne prone or still having pimples on skin. Currently, I am afraid of trying any brightening or whitening products although I want a radiant skin if i could.

I read and heard that Melvita is good for brightening especially the Brightening Mask because it brighten the face and also moisturising to the face. What i find is most brightening and whitening is they are mostly drying to the face.

I like CyberWhite. One of my skincare concern was dark spots from acne, and CyberWhite helped me address it. I’ve started to breakout a lot since about 4 years ago, so I’ve accumulated all these years of acne damage. Using this serum and the moisturizer together, though, has been too much for my acne-prone skin. In the evenings I use this serum by itself. Another one is a bit wheat color over the cheeks and slightly dark around the mouth and forehead. I have been using the brightening essence since 8 months. My favourite brightening skincare is OLAY White Radiance Intensive Brightening Serum. I am happy with my complexion, but I have a few rigid acne marks on my cheeks which are making my life horrible. On 2009, I really was desperate to get rid of these before my wedding. Although my hubby doesn’t even notice them, but you know how a girl hates such marks. I have been using this serum since a fortnight now and I can already see some noticeable improvement in my skin. My marks look faded now. They have not vanished, but I think they will fade in sometime. I have been applying this as night cream too and I love the way my skin looks plump and fresh in the mornings.

I have used Whitening Spots Specialist by SK-II from your SK-II Brightening Star Products Giveaway for a few months. It contains the new Spot Root Complex, a strong combination of ingredients such as the Pal-pal extract and De-Melano P3C that demonstrates superior whitening efficacy. Upon finishing the bottle, I noticed that my dark spots did get significantly lighter. As I have some brown spots and uneven skin tone, I have tried Thomas Roth Potent Botanical Skin Brightening Gel Complex, after using twice a day for 2 months, I did not see any changes on my face.
