From today till the end of the year, everyone will no doubt be in a festive mood as we count down to the new year. There’s always much to look forward to as a new year means new beginnings with the hope that we will have a better year like achieving more in our career. I was aiming to have as many Giveaways as possible before Christmas but now it looks like I have to extend the Giveaways till Chinese New Year.
Anyway, I think you’ll already have guessed what is in store for this Giveaway. It’s a lip set consisting of the MAC Ruby Woo Lipglass and Lip Pencil. Also included is the Keepsakes lip bag with pearl trimming. What do you have to do to join this Giveaway? Just answer one question because I like to keep things simple for my Giveaways. Sometimes though I wonder if I should make conditions more difficult since people seem to gravitate towards giveaways where they have to jump through hoops whereas my little giveaways always receive lukewarm response. Almost makes me want to discontinue my giveaways since I can see people would much rather join other blog giveaways with much stricter T & C.

There are few collections that MAC came out this year. For examples: The Simpsons, Look in A book, Brooke Shields, M.A.C Prabal Gurung, Heirloom mix, A fantasy of flowers collection and MAC Alluring Aquatic.
Actually it is really hard to just name one because there are at least few collections which are my favourite.
1. The Mac alluring aquatic for the limited edition teal packaging complete with water droplets for that aquatic goddess look.
2. The Simpsons collection with such ever pretty cartoons favourite by so many people. it is heartbreaking to even swatch the collection or else Marge will be gone.
3. The Prabal Gurung for such luxurious gold packaging!
4. However, if I can only choose only one collection, then I will probably go for A fantasy of Flower. The awesome mineralise collection is just amazing for my skin type since I have sensitive skin and other type of makeup can cause me irritation. The colour of the mineralise blusher azelea in the afternoon is just perfect because it gives that hint of healthy colour and I don’t have to worry about over applying on my face. It is good for that softer look and yet doesn’t make me look like wash off or drag queen. The lustre lipsticks which are just so pigmented and doesn’t dry my lips. This collection just made me feel like applying flowers on my face =).

MAC’s Keepsakes is my favourite collection of MAC 2014. The colour for eyes and lips are extremely versatile as it suits the Asian any skin tones and lips colour. Not to say the MAC quality on its colour pay off and pigments. The MAC Keepsakes Lips Bags is just the right choice for lady who would like to go for simple yet not overdone make up. Colour reigns supreme in chic, coordinated sets for eyes and lips featuring nice shades of lipstick, lipgloss and lip pencil . You won’t go wrong with this colour selection from the collection.
In my opinion, the best MAC Collection of 2014 must be the Heirloom Mix Holiday Collection! It has everything, it looks regal and it even has cameos, and it also caters to everyone! The collection has several Keepsakes sets, lip & eye bags, 3 types of short handled brush sets, face sets, a hanging travel bag, mini Objects of Affection Kits, a Viva Glamorous set and depending on what you like, you have a choice mini pigment individual eye shadows, lip glosses, and the list goes on and on! The pouches, which comes with the Keepsakes sets this year are so lovely, and you have a choice of black, grey, white and red depending on which Keepsakes set you purchase! I wish I could have one in each colour! In terms of eye shadows as there are also so many choices, mini pigments, Mineralize eye shadows and even mini Extra Dimension eye shadows which comes in duos this time round!
Hopefully MAC keeps coming out with even better collections in 2015!

It’s not officially summer for me until I have fallen for the MAC summer collection and I am here to say that I have officially fallen for this years collection called the MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection. With its’ boxes and containers affixed with what seem to be water droplets in the must see teal packaging to the luminous finishes of the bronzers, blushes, shadows, lipsticks and lacquers, hopefully I am taken with it all ^3^. MAC has outdone themselves once again all around, though I am obsessed with the packaging — downright obsessed.
Bronzing primers and powders set is so perfect !! Now as a blendable product, this bronzer was lovely! It sweeps onto the skin evenly and is very easy to layer and work with perhaps mostly due to the fact it’s actually a powder/cream/liquid combo (hense the EXTRA DIMENSION in its name)
It has a silky finish and even though the golden flecks could possibly sit in pores and emphasise them, I found that on me, they thankfully didn’t!

MAC x Maleficent Collection is my favourite collection of MAC 2014.
~The quality of the collection is fairly good. I like the idea of smaller, more edited collections.
~MAC Maleficent Eyeshadow Quad has four permanent shades of eyeshadows and is housed in a specially-packaged quad with the collection’s design on the palette’s lid.
~All four shades were fairly good with decent to good color payoff and mostly blendable
(Goldmine is the color I most like. It’s described as an “intense gold with shimmer.” It’s a medium-dark, yellow-orange gold with a frosted, metallic finish. It had good color payoff, though it wasn’t fully opaque, and the texture was fairly soft and smooth. It wore well for eight hours on me.)

My fav collection will be mac the simpsons collection because it was the fastest selling collection I have seen for this year. Not only was the packaging really unique but the colors offered were also very different! Even though it is my fav, I did not manage to get my hands on it. Too bad…but I felt that it was a very fun and creative collection which captured the heart of many makeup enthusiast around the globe. This collection is definitely a keeper for those hunting for limited edition! 🙂

I’ve never tried any MAC products since its a bit too pricey for me,so I don’t have any favourites. Anyway,my sole purpose of commenting is to tell you not to make difficult conditions for the giveaways.I like it just the way it is.Your loyal readers deserve to win .Usually the other giveaways have stricter conditions and the participants are not loyal.They are just in it to win it and thats it.They probably don’t even read your blog.But I must say not all are like that 😉 Keep up your good work!
