Metrojaya launched the opening of its new flagship store following six months of renovation, unveiling a new innovative concept that embraces modern lifestyle merchandise and ambience. Besides its house brands East India Company, Somerset Bay, Cape Cod and Living Quarters, the lifestyle store features 51 other brands from ladies, gents, kids and homes thus providing a complete range of merchandise on its 30,000sqf single floor area.
Lifestyle features are a coffee and gelato café called Lusso Café and a customer lounge with private fiƫting room and washroom enhanced the customers’ experiential journey in Metrojaya. In conjunction with Pink October, Metrojaya is partnering with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. This collaboration underscores Metrojaya’s commitment to community service and social responsibility.
To mark the official opening, Metrojaya hosted an exclusive fashion show showcasing the latest collection from acclaimed brands such as East India Company, Indie Batik, Cape Cod, Somerset Bay and Benjamin Barker.

Metrojaya has five stores and five specialty stores under East India Company and newly introduced Indie Batik. It will open its 11th outlet under East India Company in Sunway Pyramid Oasis on November 1 this year.
The group recently entered into joint ventures with Singaporean brands Kskin, a chain of Korean express facial studios and Benjamin Barker, a smart men’s wear, to expand into Malaysia through shared synergy
and resources.
