Anyone who has ever been to Japan will know that there are thousands of good skincare and make-up products available there which are not here but they do trickle in. One of the best-selling skin/bodycare products which has just been brought into Malaysia is Natural Aqua Gel Cure, a gentle exfoliator for face and body.

We all know the importance of removing dead skin cells – improves penetration of skincare products and skin problems are generally caused by accumulation of dead skin cells. Twice weekly exfoliation is therefore recommended otherwise no matter how excellent the skincare products you apply on your face, they will have limited efficacy.

Natural Aqua Gel Cure has been available in Japan for more than 10 years, it is available in 3,300 stores in Japan including the famous department stores there (as many as 1,000 bottles have been sold per month). This product removes just the dead skin layer on our skin surface (0.01mm) making this a gentle exfoliation product. 90% of the ingredients is water (hydrogen water), it contains no preservatives, coloring, fragrance, mineral oil or alcohol.

If it is used only on the face, one bottle can last between 3-4 months. It can be used on the body too which makes this quite economical since you don’t have to purchase a separate body exfoliator. I’ve been using it more on my body than face because when I used it on my face, there didn’t seem to be as much dead skin cells as on my body so my body needs this product more than my face.

This is a gel exfoliator which is quite runny and slippery. Point to note is that it has to be used on very dry skin. When I applied it on slightly damp skin, it didn’t work as well. Once applied, massage it in circular motions and you will see evidence of the dead skin cells.

Cure’s ingredients react only with protein and amino acid on your skin. If you apply it immediately after the first application, it will be less effective since the dead skin cells have already been removed. The product removes only the unnecessary protein from your skin.

Anyway, trying is believing and to this purpose, I have 5 sets of Natural Aqua Gel Cure to giveaway, each set contains 2 sachets. You don’t need much per application as the product is so fluid. I found that 2 pumps yields quite a lot.

Please leave a comment on the exfoliator you are currently using or have previously used. Is it effective for you? Alternatively, you can leave a comment on what you think about Natural Aqua Gel Cure from what you have seen and read here.

Giveaway ends on Monday 13th May 2013 even if there are less than 5 responses to this Giveaway.

Natural Aqua Gel Cure retails at RM115/250g and is available at Sasa outlets. Product has been provided by Offstyle Sdn. Bhd. for review.

  1. OMG! Thanks for the giveaway^^. I heard so much about this Natural Aqua Gel Cure and always wanted to try it out! I tried Marvel Gel before and St.Ives scrubs before. Currently, i am using scrubs from Watson.

  2. Thank you so much for letting us try 🙂 Currently I’m using exfoliator from Laneige as well as Caroline Paris. I prefer Caroline Paris but it is a bit too harsh on my skin. Can’t wait to try this out after reading so many good reviews. Hopefully it works out like they hype it is given. 🙂

  3. Hi! Hi! I first heard about natural aqua cure gel from another blogger post and was really intrigued by her review, however I was afraid to buy the full size as I am not sure if it suitable for my skin. I am currently using st.ives Swiss formula apricot scrub for the past one month and I find it drying for my oily skin. It would be great to try out natural aqua cure gel for a change!

  4. I am currently using Clinique’s 7 day scrub which i think it’s quite effective. I wish to try this coz I have been seeing many publicity about it. Wondering if it really delivers what it promised.

  5. I usually use Dermologica’s Daily Microfoliant and i love it to bits as it’s in powder form and melts into the skin when a little water is added on to it.
Natural Aqua Gel Cure sounds quite interesting as you apply it on dry skin and it exfoliates. It’ll be interesting to try! 🙂

  6. Yay!!! Another give away!!!

Well I’ve used alot….. But one of my fav and current at the moment will be the Queen Helene! Right now I’m using the Oatmeal and Honey…But it’s discontinued I think coz I can’t seem to find it anywhere.. If I’ve finished my stock I don’t know where to get it! Why I like it? Well to me it does a great job to really exfoliate my skin, right after that, I can see my skin much brighter and feels cleannnnnn… =D

    Cheers!

  7. I’m using Simple Skincare facial scrub. It exfoliates great, and isn’t harsh on your skin. Afterwards my skin was very smooth and felt refreshingly clean. I love the fact that the ingredients are pure as well!

  8. Currently I’m using St. Ives Apricot Scrub (brightening). I really like it cause my skin feels like a baby’s buttock after using it, literally. It also smells really nice and its 100% natural. I also use this for my body sometimes cause its that good 😀
As for the Natural Aqual Gel Cure, I’d relly love to try this cause not once I’ve heard a bad review on it.
