NUXE Micellar Cleansing Water is part of their Rose Cleansing Range and the star ingredient is the Damascus Rose. The petals of the Damascus Rose are gathered by hand to preserve its fragrant and active molecules. Its molecules are extracted from the petals for hydro-distillation : its fragrant molecules are carried along with the oil (to become rose absolute) while the active molecules remain in the aqueous solution which is Rose Floral Water, a concentration of all the soothing and softening properties of the Damascus Rose.
Damascus Rose Floral Water has been selected by NUXE because of the very high concentration of active molecules (flavonoids, carbohydrates, amino acids etc) which give it soothing and softening properties.
The rose scent of the Micellar Cleansing Water is quite mild. I have been using this to cleanse eye makeup and it works very well without stinging eyes. Eye makeup comes off easily with the Micellar Cleansing Water. It can also be used as an eye mask by soaking cotton pads and placing them over eyelids for a few minutes. Eyes feel instantly refreshed and look less puffy.
Micellar Cleansing Water comes in 2 sizes : 100ml/RM68 & 200ml/RM88. 97.4% of the ingredients are of natural origin and product doesn’t contain parabens.
