Fourteen years ago, Aliza Jabès, CEO of NUXE Paris launched Crème Fraîche® de Beauté. Pharmacists said to her “Crème Fraîche, but that’s a product to sell in a dairy store!”. Nevertheless, the product soon became a favourite among women and men. Several developments later, that cream has metamorphosed into a cult range which includes a serum, mask and 3 moisturisers – Crème Fraîche® de Beauté, Crème Fraîche® de Beauté Light & Crème Fraîche® de Beauté Enriched.
The latest incarnation of Crème Fraîche® de Beauté was in 2012. The primary function or benefit of Crème Fraîche® de Beauté is to provide long-lasting hydration. The Crème Fraîche® de Beauté for normal sensitive skin comes in a 30ml tube and a 50ml jar. Personally, I would have preferred the tube as the jar’s quite heavy and I’d rather squeeze out the product than dip my fingers into the jar.
Crème Fraîche® de Beauté has a smoothie/whipped mousse texture. It’s so light and airy that it emulsifies into a liquid upon contact with my skin. The scent is floral as it contains orange blossom notes. However, the scent is not overwhelming or heavy.
It contains 8 plant milks and a new star active ingredient, Salicornia for 24-hour moisturization. There’s also Almond and Orange White Flowers, Aloe Vera Sap and Allantoin with softening and soothing properties. My skin’s definitely a lot softer once the cream has been absorbed. Lovely texture with a soothing scent, just wish it did more than just hydrating skin.
Crème Fraîche® de Beauté – RM168/50ml jar & RM118/30ml tube.
wow, quite expensive for a hydrating product
