Ocean Park Christmas Sensation will kick off on 17 December 2016 with the stunning stage show, Cyber Illusion Spectacular, as the main event this holiday season. This spellbinding show will feature breathtaking magic acts, cutting-edge visual effects and amazing live entertainment performed by internationally-acclaimed illusionists, including finalists of the reality show, Australia’s Got Talent, Michael Boyd and Soul Mystique. To immerse guests in even more holiday cheer, the entire Park will be decked out with Christmas decorations, with must-see attractions including Santa Tree Hut and the Park’s signature, gigantic Christmas tree. The cast of playful ‘penguin’ characters from the all-new Penguin Dress-Up Delights are also gearing up to have some fun with guests this Christmas. Along with limited-time, Christmas-themed menus and dishes on offer, Ocean Park Christmas Sensation 2016 is set to be a must-experience festive celebration on the Advent calendar this year.
Immersive Entertainment during Ocean Park Christmas Sensation 2016 Cyber Illusion Spectacular, a breathtaking, live stage show themed around illusion, magic and wonder. On a futuristic stage backed by walls of LED lights, the show features world-class illusionists, Michael Boyd and Cassandra Gasser, who perform jaw-dropping acts including disappearances, double levitations and fire cage escapes. Guests will also be shocked by Soul Mystique’s lightning-fast costume changes and the stunning skills of master fan manipulator, Po Cheng.
For some festive fun, guests can visit Santa Claus or snap a playful photo with his elves at Santa Tree Hut, or explore Santa’s Whimsical Garden, an expansive Christmas-themed park featuring giant musical instrument themed topiaries. An international living statue artist will also be standing ready for those seasonal selfies. The all-new Penguin Dress-Up Delights will feature performers in adorable penguin costumes bouncing on stilts and dancing while handing out Christmas candies to the guests. Of course, the highlight of the evening will be Light Up The Night, during which the Park will light its gigantic 40-feet tall Christmas tree while pleasant Christmas Carols are sung underneath it. Guests will even have the chance to be invited on stage to help Santa turn on the Christmas tree lights!
